Chemistry graduate (2001)international student- do i qualify

Post by nan » Fri Sep 20, 2013 6:43 am

I am a MBA -HR graduate(2010) and have done my science graduation(Chemistry) in 2001.My work experience is in Human resources. I am currently in India . Do I qualify for the PA program in and if so, will there be any assistance for getting a student visa ? Can I get a student visa to do the prerequisite courses? how long will it take?
Thank you

Your HR work does not qualify you. You will need health care experience - working in a clinic, hospital, or on an ambulance.

You will need to get the visa. There may be services that can help you with that, but PA programs don't do it.

I believe a student visa will allow you to take the prerequisites. You may then need to apply for a more permanent status visa in order to attend PA school, but I would check on this with the various PA programs.
