clep, online and ace courses

Hey there! ! I was wondering if anyone knows if you can clep certain prerequisites? For example, psychology and English.? And what about online statistics? Also, there is a program in my neighborhood which is offering science courses thru an accredited university however bio 1 and chem1 are not thru that university rather they are similar to ace credits . Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with these credits? Any info will help

Online prereqs that are science-based aren't recommended as most schools list in their applications. However, psych, english and math are essentially all okay as long as you double check their websites.
