Family friendly PA programs

Post by smithav » Sat Feb 09, 2013 4:48 am

Our only PA schools in Oregon are 2 hours from my house. It is not possible to commute. So if accepted I would have to live there during the week and see my 4 kids and husband on the weekends, or move the whole family. Even if we all moved to Portland, I know I would see my kids very very little. Are there masters programs in other states that are either more drawn out or just more "family friendly"? Thanks.

There are fewer and fewer "part-time" programs every day. Generally, they don't allow you much time with your family anyway. I suggest you bite the bullet and either A) move together, or B) come home on the weekends. On the bright side, PA school is usually 2 or 2-1/2 years, and it goes very quickly. Before you know it, you'll be done and you can find a job literally anywhere you want to live. And you'll be doing something you love!

Great info. Thanks for sharing. I hope I will make the best choice for myself. I've heard good things about that PA programs from current students.
Yep, there are many awesome online gaming websites and each offer a high level of services. I'm glad I can play online free pokies at australian casinos. Hell, can you believe that?
