I am wondering how CME works after getting certified? I have a PA interview coming up and I am wondering whether or not it would be a good idea to ask them about CME, and if they do/plan to offer CME courses.
Any input would be appreciated
Good luck to us all who are interviewing this year

Re: CME
CMEs (continuing medical education credits) are due before the end of your recertification year. You must do 100 hours, 50 of which must be category 1 (official trainings and courses). The other 50 maybe category 1 or category 2. Cat 2 can be self study, reading articles, teaching, preceptoring, etc. Most PAs find the process to be pretty straightforward.
You can ask, but I don't think it's a terribly relevant question - most people don't return to their original institution for CMEs because they are so easy to find elsewhere. But hey, it's a question, and if you're curious, you might as well ask and then you'll know.
