Letters of Recommendation

CASPA requires applicants to obtain 3 letters of reference/recommendation. How do you go about it? Suggestions? Questions? Put them here.

Hi everyone... I am getting a letter of recommendation from a physician I have been shadowing. Should he include how many hours I have volunteered with him in the letter or leave that out? I would really appreciate any feedback. Thank you!
