I am curious about the average week. I understand it may vary program to program, but I actually have a favorable schedule with work currently for school purposes and can continue (if I like) working saturday and sundays and being off mon-fri. Is PA school a mon-fri schedule throughout? Is it conceivable to do this? Do people even work usually while in PA school?
I am essentially debt free, and understand I will need to take out loans for school - working the weekends at the hospital I am at is more than enough to support me while in school. Just curious if thats something thats even doable with the coursework that will be expected.
I work in radiology and am 2 semesters from finishing my bachelors degree. I am registered in multiple modalities (Xray, CT and MRI) and have 5-6 years experience working in clinical/hospital settings. I am curious if anyone here found it easier with their medical training? Obviously I am sure it helps, but I guess I am curious how much? My whole job is essentially anatomy, I start IV's, transport/talk to patients....etc. Did any of you find this made a significant impact on your experience?
Thanks for any advice!
