Healthcare experience.

Hi, I am working on finishing my AA right now, and plan on starting a Bachelors program next Fall in biomedical science. I am looking into becoming a PA and I know you have to have healthcare experince. I have been a dental assistant for an edodontists office for 6 years, would that count? Thanks

Yes, it would. But you should definitely obtain some other health care experience to round things out. Breadth is important, and after 6 years you've shown that you know enough about what you were exposed to in endodontistry (is that a word?)
