I have been a nationally and state licensed certified pharmacy technician for about 10 years. I'm also certified to compound drugs that aren't retail available. Does this qualify as enough health care experience? I've worked in several pharmacy settings such as retail, hospital, compounding, and sterile compounding. I have a BA in GENERAL Studies with a behavioral studies concentrate. I was previously taking all prerequisites for becoming a SLP. Most of my classes are CSD, SOC, & Psych Upon graduation I took a break went back to work at pharmacy and now have decided that I want to go to PA school. I need to know if my health experience would be considered sufficient and if this path seems on course? I'm 30 years old so it's time to finalize my decision if it seems like I could obrain it realistically. I graduated with a 2.8 overall but I made poor choices when I first attending and basically killed MY GPA. I went back years later with a .7 and each semester finished with honors.like presidents list etc..my last 60 hour are great. I wonder if they would take that into consideration or if maybe it's not a good fit for me? I feel being a PA that it is a good fit for me personally but if going by GPA maybe not so much?
