Hi there,
I am constantly stressing about getting into PA school, but I want an honest answer as to how realistic/unrealistic my fears are!
Here is my situation in a nutshell:
Graduated from prestigious liberal arts college, cGPA 3.2, sGPA probably ~3.2.
I have since taken a few classes at a local CC, so my GPA probably went up just a little bit.
Most of my lower grades (a few C's) were in religion classes and some other GE's.
Re-taking a few courses (anatomy to get an A, Gen Chem II as well)
B.S. in kinesiology, minor in Spanish (fluent speaker). Collegiate athlete all 4 years.
HCE: 4,000+ hours by time of application deadlines.
I will have strong letters of rec and am pretty confident I can come up with a strong personal statement.
Unsure if I will take the GRE this first round depending on where I apply, but I am a pretty solid test-taker.
I have only been out of school for just over a year now and am only 23.
Does anyone have any thoughts? Much appreciated!
What do you think my chances are?
