Fresh Out of School Applicant: Am I competitive?

Post by rbruening » Sat Jul 21, 2018 8:10 am

Hey guys,
I know you get this question a lot but does my background make me competitive atall for PA school? Here's a little bit about me:
I will just be graduated with my bachelors when I enter PA school, if I get in right away.
I am an honors student and have an overall GPA of 3.45 Major: 3.6 Minor: 4.00 (Health Science Major with a Psychology Minor)
I have close to 30 shadowing hours
I am a medical aide and have been working as one for about a year and a half (close to 1400 patient care hours) in an assisted living facility
I recently have become a certified EMT however, I have not started working as one
I also have about 60 hours of recorded volunteerwork under my belt
Aside from this background information there are other clubs I am in such as rugby, health sciences, and the Pre-PA club. Thank you so much if you've read this.
