I am planning to start applying to PA schools in the spring of 2018, and I was wondering when is the best time to take the gre between now and then. I was also wondering how long gre results are good for in terms of most PA schools.
Thank you for you help.

They say the earlier the better because if you don't do well you'll have time to retake the GRE.

Some preparation is good. Earlier is good, but there is no point of taking it without any preparation. You could try some online tests. Then decide.
