Hi All,
I am interested applying to PA schools but its been more than 5 years since I finished my BS (graduated 2012). I know a lot of schools want degrees/pre reqs to be within 5 years. Anyone know any schools that dont have 5 year requirement?
For those who want 5 year window, would it be better to go back and tetake pre-reqs or getting a masters degree will look better?
Thanks!
C
Applying to PA schools after being out of school for...?
Re: Applying to PA schools after being out of school for...?
I'm in the same boat as you C! I graduated in 2012 and have all the pre-reqs but the one program I'm really interested in (CHA/PA in Denver) requires at least 6 semesters hours of biology be upper division completed in the last 5 years. I have them all and then some but missed the cut off by a year! I have a Masters but it's not directly science related. Should I go back to school just for these 6 credits? Are programs flexible at all?
Would love to get a reply from someone who was in a similar situation!

Morning guys,
New to the forum but thought this question was an easy enough answer. There are many programs out there with a 10 year timeline.
