Application Competitive?

Post by alex.mclaren55 » Wed May 17, 2017 5:32 am

Hi everyone!

I just finished up my undergraduate degree and am applying for the first time this cycle. Like most people, I'm curious as to what my chances are at being accepted at most schools. Thanks everyone.

During Undergrad...
- 3.45 Cumulative GPA in the honors science college.
- 600 hours paid HCE as a Medical Assistant and CNA, plus more on the way (Hoping to be over 1,000 by August).
- 40 hours volunteering, plus 30 hours shadowing PAs and MDs.
- 310 GRE, 5/5 on essays.
- President of a club sports team for 2 years.

If you think any of these numbers are weak and should be brought up, let me know! Also, any advice on what else I could add to this list to strengthen my application would be very helpful.

I am in the midwest region and would preferably like to stay in that area so if anyone has tips on schools around me that would be awesome as well.

Thanks for taking the time to read! Hope to hear from some of you.
